Tadaaaa!

So I finally got myself my own blog. About time really considering how much time I spend online. ;)

So what to blog about... well... At the moment I'm obsessed with cupcakes so I suppose I can start with that. Only been making cupcakes now for about 1 1/2 week but I just love it. There is so much inspiration online and I love browsing for pictures of other peoples cupcakes. There are SO many talented people out there. And penguins... well I've always had a thing for them so I thought I ought to put them in the blog title as well. lol

Anyway - I thought that having a blog would be a good way of keeping track of my own cupcake progress. I'm afraid I haven't taken any pictures of the cupcakes I've made so far but I will try to remember to upload some going forward.

So far I've only made standard vanilla cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes both with various colours and flavours of buttercream on. I thought they tasted pretty good (but I'm biased) and my other half Steven seemed to enjoy them as well (but I suppose he's pretty biased as well lol).

Anyway - I was going to make some more cupcakes this afternoon for us to bring in to the office and I was also going to make some for my mother-in-law's birthday. Not too sure about flavours and designs yet but I see what I feel like later on. Will probably make some standard vanilla ones but I also wanted to try out a banana cake recipe.

So hopefully later on I will be uploading my very first pictures. :)
